Music Ministry
Music has been and always should be vitally important to the worship practice and life of any body of New Testament believers. Both traditional and contemporary worship services are offered at Southmont.
We strive to incorporate a variety of choral and instrumental elements into the traditional worship service including an adult choir, organ, piano, and orchestra. From children to senior adults, several opportunities are available to sing, ring hand bells, and play orchestral/band instruments during our traditional service. This service offers a balanced worship experience with an emphasis on congregational participation and musical excellence.
We also offer a contemporary worship service that includes great music and a collection of worship responses, multi-media presentations, drama, arts, and the desire to open our hearts to a receptive God.
At the heart of every believing Christian is an insatiable desire to glorify our Maker. So, join us as we seek to reflect back to a loving Father the immense grace He has shown us. Come ready to listen, sing, pray, hear, get involved, and express your love for God with a group of dedicated followers of Jesus Christ.
