Youth Ministry
Southmont’s Student Ministry offers a number of ways for student’s to learn more about Christ and to connect with each other. Bible study and discipleship classes are offered that focus on truths relevant to everyday life. Servanthood projects and missions trips provide youth opportunities to demonstrate their love for God by serving others.

1- Flag Football Tournament (MS Game, HS Game, PowderPuff Game- vs
Northview Baptist-Lewisville and Lakeland Baptist- Lewisville)- Location

8-10- 220 Winter Conference- Latham Springs Baptist Encampment- Waco:
Cost $100 (covers meals, lodging for 2 nights, programming costs,
t-shirt etc).

6- Mission Work Day (most likely at Nelson Children's Center)- Community

7- Souper Bowl of Caring collection Day
10- Combined Youth Group Worship service (6-10 churches) @ CrossTimbers

Our current weekly schedule of activities:
Sunday Morning
9:50 AM—The Venue: Life Focus, a study to help students know God, own their faith, and make their faith known.
Sunday Evening
5-7 PM—Home Groups: The youth split into Jr. High and High school home groups. It is a time of fellowship as well as a deep discussion lead bible study showing teens who God is and how to apply what they learn into life.
Wednesday Evening
6 PM- Prayer time for Wednesday night activities
6:30-8 PM- Amplified: worship, teaching, games, fellowship, and fun.
The Southmont Youth program meets in the Activity Center.
