Adult bible study
Southmont wants to provide an opportunity for Bible Study to all ages. We start by providing challenging study and striving to minister to age and gender specific groups. Our goal is to minister to people through our study groups while focusing on the truths of scripture. Through Bible Studies we are able to meet needs and grow relationships that serve to support during the difficult times of life.
Bible Studies provide a place for spiritual growth, fellowship and participating in God’s great commission of reaching out to each other and the world in His love.
If you are new, please go to the Welcome Center for a list of classes. Someone will be there to greet you and give you any information that you may need. Our adult classes meet at 9:30am and 10:45am on Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday and Sunday evenings.
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
The men’s ministry at Southmont offers men the opportunity to sharpen their lives through guidance, strength, and encouragement from one another.
The purpose of the men’s ministry is to glorify God by doing His will, encouraging one another, and reaching others through worship, fellowship, discipleship, and ministry. Every man is encouraged to become the man God desires him to be by praying, obeying, growing in His word, sharing His love, and serving others.
Opportunities in the men’s ministry include monthly fellowship breakfasts, small group Bible studies, retreats, fellowship outings, outreach efforts, mentoring, discipleship, and intercessory prayer.

Our women’s ministry works to draw women into a more intimate relationship with Christ. Southmont Women’s Ministry is made up of Christian women who are motivated and dedicated to serve our Lord, our church and our community. Our Bible studies encourage personal involvement and growth.
Several teams make up Southmont Women’s Ministry. These teams create opportunities for the Women of Southmont to come together and fellowship with other Godly women at a variety of events planned throughout the year.
