Our Music Ministry Department is led by our Minister of Music Jerald Garner. Under his direction, Southmont offers several featured events every year. Concerts on Easter and Christmas, along with our renown Forth of July Celebration, are not to be missed. Every Sunday at our traditional service you can enjoy the Southmont choir, along with our organists as we celebrate our Lord.
Southmont is also home to one of the finest organs in North Texas. The Hackett organ was installed in 2021 and features both a traditional bellows system and a state of the art digital system.
We offer both adult and youth choirs, along with a 15 piece orchestra. The choir and orchestra is open to church members. Please reach out to our Minister of Music, Jerald Garner, for more information.
Sometimes you just want to get on your feet and praise His name! Our worship band plays the best in contemporary Christian music and singing along is always encouraged. Join our talented musicians for an energetic and memorable service as they play your favorite worship songs and uplift our Lord Jesus Christ. Led by Tonya Ainsworth and the Southmont praise team.
