From the Hackett organ and traditional hymns to a full contemporary worship band, Southmont's Music Ministry leads two very different services toward the same goal — pointing hearts to Christ.
Traditional Music & Choir
The 9:30 service is Southmont's traditional worship gathering — the adult choir, the historic Hackett organ, and hymns that have shaped generations of believers.
Our traditional music program isn't just for adults. Youth and children's choirs give the next generation a place to learn to worship through music from an early age, often joining the adult choir for special services throughout the year.
Worship Band
The 10:45 service is led by Southmont's worship band, bringing a full contemporary sound to Sunday mornings — drums, guitars, and vocals leading the congregation in contemporary Christian praise music.
Same heart, different sound. Whether you're drawn to the reverence of the organ or the energy of a live band, both services exist for the same purpose: pointing hearts to Christ.
