Mission Opportunities
Southmont is taking its first steps as a sending church. As God opens doors around the world, we're praying, giving, and going — and we'd love for you to be part of what's next.
Beginning Our Journey
Jesus calls His church to make disciples of all nations. For most of our history, Southmont has lived that out here at home — but we believe God is now stirring our church family toward the nations as well. We're early in this journey, and we're walking it prayerfully, one step and one team at a time.
That means you won't find a long list of ongoing mission fields here yet. What you will find is a church that's ready to pray, give, and go — and an open invitation to help write this next chapter with us.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
Three Ways to Be Part of It
You don't have to get on a plane to be a part of Southmont's mission work. Here's where we need you.
Pray
Ask God to prepare our Honduras team's hearts and to keep opening doors for what's next in Southmont's mission work.
Give
Help fund travel, training, and support for the first teams Southmont sends into the field.
Go
Sense a pull toward missions yourself? Reach out below — we'd love to talk with you about what's ahead.
Our Mission Trips
This year, God gave Southmont the chance to take our first steps as a sending church — and there's already more on the calendar.

Malawi, Africa
Earlier this year, a team from Southmont traveled to Malawi for our very first international mission trip — serving alongside a local ministry partner and taking our first steps as a sending church.

Honduras, Central America
Building on what God started in Malawi, our next team is preparing to serve in Honduras over spring break. If you have wondered whether God might be calling you to go, this is a good place to start.
Team details are still being finalized. Interested in joining, or in supporting the team? Get in touch below.
Interested in Serving or Going?
Whether you want to pray, give, go yourself, or just learn more about what's ahead, we'd love to hear from you.
