Our Mission

Southmont Student Ministry is designed to equip students from 6th grade through 12th grade who, through prayer and Scripture, worship God in their families, in their church, and in their community.

“I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble.”

Our Vision

In the 2020-2021 school year our vision is “Flexible”. This is from what we see in Philippians 4:12-14 , “I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble.” With last year being what it ended up being, I want SMSM to focus on God’s sovereignty. I want us to understand that no matter what lies ahead we have God leading us through it all.
