Hey, my name is Jett Gordon! I was born and raised in Colorado before coming to Texas to attend Dallas Baptist University. After graduating from DBU in 2021, I felt the Lord call me to vocational ministry and I’ve been following His path ever since! That has led me through being a worship musician, a part of a large youth ministry team, and now leading the college ministry here at Southmont!

A few core things about me: I truly do love to read, study, and teach the Scriptures. I’m also passionate about all things movies/film, I enjoy making coffee (specifically espresso), and deeply love music from just about all decades and genres. If I find myself with some spare time on my hands, it’s not unlikely that I’m playing guitar, seeing the latest movie in theaters, or heading to the nearest taco joint. However, the greatest joy and interest in my life is my wonderful and amazing wife, Shelby.
