After School Program (ASP)
A safe, loving place for Sam Houston Elementary kids to land after the school bell rings.
Southmont provides a safe, loving environment while also teaching biblical truths. ASP collects children from Sam Houston Elementary at the end of the school day and gives them a supervised afternoon — a short devotion, a snack, help with homework, and time to play — right up until pickup at 5:30.

We collect the children from Sam Houston Elementary when school lets out.

Room to play and unwind after a long day at school.

Children bring their own snack from home.

Supervised, with an adult on hand to help.
About This Program
After the last bell, ASP gives children a warm, familiar place to land. The afternoon starts with a devotion, then moves through free time, a snack, and a supervised homework time, with more free time before parents arrive. It is a simple rhythm that children settle into quickly.
Parents get the peace of mind of a safe, supervised, faith-centered place for their child until pickup — and children get an afternoon they look forward to.
Signing Up
ASP follows the school year and began on August 13, 2026. Enrollment is by online application, and tuition is billed monthly per child.
