About Jeff
Hi, I'm Jeff, and I've had the privilege of serving as Executive Pastor at Southmont since 2017. In my role, I help support our staff, oversee church operations and facilities, and work alongside our education ministries to help our church thrive. What I enjoy most is investing in people, developing leaders, building strong teams, and helping others take their next step in their walk with Christ.
I've spent more than 25 years serving in ministry at churches across Texas and Alabama, and I'm grateful for every opportunity God has given me to serve His Church. I earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which helped shape my passion for equipping people for ministry and discipleship.
My wife, Fawnda, and I have been blessed with three amazing daughters, Lauren, Rachel, and Hannah, three wonderful sons-in-law, and eleven grandchildren who keep life fun and full. When I'm not at church, you'll usually find me spending time with family, making memories with the grandkids, or enjoying the relationships that matter most. It is truly an honor to serve alongside the Southmont family as we grow together and share the love of Christ with our community.
